A couple hundred seats that were unable to see full or partial views of the rink were bought presale and added directly behind the players benches. The fact that there was a need to complain over seating configurations was frustrating, however, customer relations was very accommodating with switching my seats for seats with a better view. Most of the people I talked to, including myself, bought these seats during presale with intent to be close to the ice. Additionally, the tickets by the ice probably costed more than if I were to originally buy seats in the section I ended up sitting in. The dome is neither of the teams' home rinks, however, the event was announced as the two teams playing together at the dome, and the Comets were treated as the away team without having the players announced. A schedule of the events was not released until less than a week prior to the event, when these tickets were purchased almost 6 months ago. It was hard to plan in advance for the event without knowing the times of the games. Overall, for how big of an event it was, it seemed quite unorganized.
